About running Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail (2023, RPG) asks very little of a modern PC, which is a large part of why it stayed popular. Minimum spec is Intel Core i5-6400 and NVIDIA GTX 650. Recommended is Intel Core i7-6700 and NVIDIA GTX 1060. Memory goes from 8 GB at minimum to 16 GB recommended, and you'll want roughly 25 GB free on disk. Frame rates here are usually limited by background software long before the graphics card runs out of room.
How to improve Honkai: Star Rail performance
- Close what you're not using. Browsers, chat apps and launchers sit on RAM and CPU while Honkai: Star Rail runs. On a machine near the minimum this is usually the single biggest win available.
