What this checker can actually tell you

Will these PC parts work together?

A processor and graphics card do not make a complete PC. The motherboard, RAM, storage, power supply, case and cooling must work together too. This checker helps you review a shopping list and catches basic mismatches where confirmed specifications are available.

Product names come first

This preview matches pasted titles against a local catalog. It does not browse stores or run AI product research. A possible match needs your confirmation. Graphics-card chip names do not identify the exact manufacturer model, dimensions or power connectors. Unrecognized products remain unverified, not automatically incompatible.

Compatibility is not the same as performance

Matching sockets, memory types or dimensions is only part of the check. Required BIOS versions, exact RAM support, cable connections, mounting hardware, cooling capacity and clearance must be confirmed in the manufacturers’ manuals. No score or percentage can guarantee a working build or a specific frame rate.

What happened to the bottleneck calculator?

The old CPU/GPU gauge could compare model scores, but it could not tell you what to buy or whether a whole PC would work. This shopping-list flow replaces that score-first view. Use actual benchmarks for your games, apps and settings when comparing performance. The old URL remains so existing links still open.

Sources and limits

The starter component specifications link to manufacturer pages. Processor and graphics-card names use an adapted BottleneckPC catalog under CC BY 4.0; the old gaming scores are not used to make buying decisions here. Catalog coverage is limited and specifications were reviewed September 22, 2026. Prices and stock are not tracked.

Power planning combines available published CPU and GPU ratings, a 150 W allowance for the rest of the PC and at least 150 W headroom. It rounds up to 50 W and respects the available reference GPU maker’s PSU guidance. TDP is not peak electrical consumption, and custom limits or partner cards need separate checks. Read Corsair’s power-supply guide.

Useful starting points: Intel’s PC-building guide and motherboard compatibility guide. This page is not a substitute for the exact part manuals.

Quick questions

Can I paste product names from a store?

Yes. Paste one product title per line, then confirm the model matches. The current preview recognizes a limited catalog and keeps unknown titles in your list without inventing specifications. Product links and whole product pages are not fetched.

Is this an AI PC builder?

Not yet. This preview runs local name matching and basic rules. Live AI product lookup is not connected. AI should help identify exact parts and explain sourced facts, not guess whether a build is safe to buy.

Does a CPU and GPU match mean the whole PC will work?

No. You also need a supported motherboard, compatible RAM, storage, a suitable power supply, case space and cooling. Even matching CPU and board sockets does not confirm the required BIOS version.

What should I buy next?

The report highlights missing parts and explains the specifications to look for, such as the CPU socket or the motherboard's memory type. Specific best-value product recommendations require verified listings, your budget, country and performance goals. This preview does not compare current prices.

What does unverified mean?

It means we do not have enough confirmed information about that exact item. It does not mean the part is bad or incompatible. Keep it on your list and check its full model number and manufacturer specifications.

Is it free and does it scan my computer?

It is free with no account or device scan. Basic checks run in your browser. Pasted product names are not submitted to an AI service in this preview. Do not paste personal information. Website analytics follow your cookie choices.
