The short version: FixKon runs locally on your PC. System cleanup, startup optimization, and performance presets never send your data anywhere. When you use AI features (chat or screenshot analysis), that content is sent to our servers and AI provider to generate a response. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t collect what we don’t need.
1. Who we are
FixKon is a Windows PC diagnostic and optimization application developed and operated by Unex Technologies LLC, a limited liability company registered in Virginia, USA (“FixKon,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the FixKon desktop application, our website, and related services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using FixKon, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you create a FixKon account, we collect your email address and a password (stored in hashed form). Your account is used to manage your AI credit balance and license status.
- AI chat messages. When you use the AI assistant, the text of your messages is transmitted to our servers and processed by our third-party AI provider to generate a response.
- Screenshots. When you submit a screenshot for AI analysis, the image is transmitted to our servers and processed by our third-party AI provider. Screenshots may contain anything visible on your screen at the time of capture. You are responsible for what you choose to submit.
- Support and feedback. If you contact us by email or through our community channels, we receive the information you include in those messages.
Information collected automatically
- Credit and usage records. We record when AI credits are granted, purchased, and spent (e.g., timestamps and feature type) to maintain your balance and prevent abuse.
- Basic technical data. When the app communicates with our servers (account sign-in, AI requests, license validation), we may log your IP address, app version, and Windows version for security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting.
- Website data. Our website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and basic analytics.
What stays on your device
FixKon’s core optimization features (System Cleanup, Startup Optimization, and Performance Presets) run entirely locally. The files scanned, startup entries read, and settings applied by these features are not transmitted to us or anyone else.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate FixKon’s features, including generating AI responses to your chats and screenshots
- To create and manage your account, credit balance, and purchases
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including enforcement of per-account credit limits
- To respond to support requests and communicate service updates
- To improve the reliability, performance, and security of the app and our services
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your chats or screenshots for advertising.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us operate FixKon:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), in which case this policy will continue to apply to your data.
Community spaces such as our Discord server are operated by third parties and governed by their own privacy policies. Anything you post there is subject to Discord’s terms, not this policy.
5. Data retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., purchase records for tax purposes).
- AI chat messages and screenshots are retained only as long as needed to generate a response on our systems. Our AI provider may retain data according to its own policies; we use API services whose terms prohibit training on customer data.
- Payment records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed password storage, and access controls limiting who can view user data. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of any breach as required by applicable law.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated personal data
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time
Virginia residents have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), California residents under the CCPA/CPRA, and EU/UK residents under the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info.fixkon@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
You can also avoid transmitting any data to us simply by not using the AI features. The core optimization tools work fully offline.
8. Children’s privacy
FixKon is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
FixKon is operated from the United States, and your information is processed on servers located in the United States. If you use FixKon from outside the U.S., you understand that your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app, by email, or by posting a notice on our website before the changes take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
